Public Safety & Security Consulting
You can't fix a vulnerability you can't see — and the gaps that matter most are rarely the obvious ones. Veritas provides security consulting, vulnerability and threat assessments, and comprehensive security planning for organizations, facilities, and events. We can assist in promotional panels and searching our networks for the right leader to serve your organization. Our consultants come from federal and local law enforcement, so they don't just hand you a checklist and leave. They show you exactly where the risk is and give you a working plan to close it.
The Difference
A Report Nobody Uses Isn't Security.
It's Paperwork.
Plenty of consultants will walk your property once, hand you a generic checklist, and send an invoice. That report goes in a drawer, and nothing actually changes. That's not what we do.
Our consultants spent their careers on the other side of security failures — seeing how incidents actually happen and what could have prevented them. We bring that experience to your organization: a real assessment of where you're exposed, and a practical, prioritized plan you can act on. When the goal is preventing something serious, “compliant” isn't the same as “safe,” and a checklist isn't the same as a plan.
What We Assess & Plan
From Vulnerability to a Plan That Closes It
Consulting engagements are scoped to what you need — a single vulnerability assessment or a complete security program. These are the areas we work.
Security Risk & Vulnerability Assessments
A systematic examination of your facility, operation, and people to identify where you're susceptible — access points, physical gaps, procedural weaknesses, and realistic threat potential. You get a firsthand look at every risk we find, not just a summary.
Threat Assessment & Workplace Violence Prevention
Structured assessment of specific threats — including behavioral threat assessment for workplace-violence concerns. We help you identify warning signs, evaluate risk, and put a response framework in place before a situation escalates.
Emergency Response & Contingency Planning
Practical, tested plans for the scenarios that matter to you — active threats, natural events, evacuations, and crises. We build the plan and, where useful, run tabletop exercises so your people know their roles before the unexpected happens.
Security Program Design
For organizations building or upgrading a security program from the ground up: physical security design, procedures, staffing structure, and technology guidance — evaluated as a whole, not as disconnected parts.
Global Security Plans
For clients who operate, travel, or hold interests across borders, we develop comprehensive global security plans that address risk consistently wherever you're exposed — coordinating regional and international concerns under one strategy.

FAQ
Security Consulting Questions, Answered
What is a security vulnerability assessment?
A systematic examination of a facility, operation, or event to identify features that are susceptible to a security threat — access points, physical gaps, procedural weaknesses, and realistic threat potential. The output is a documented picture of where you're exposed and what to do about it.
What's the difference between a checklist and a real assessment?
A checklist confirms whether standard boxes are ticked. A real assessment applies experienced judgment to your specific environment, finds the gaps a checklist misses, and delivers a prioritized plan you can act on. We do the latter.
Do you only assess, or can you implement the plan too?
Both. Many clients have us assess the risk and then staff the solution — guards, executive protection, event security, or K9 — so the same team that identified the gap is accountable for closing it.
What is a global security plan?
A comprehensive strategy for clients exposed across multiple regions or countries — coordinating physical security, travel, and risk management under one consistent plan rather than handling each location in isolation.
How much does security consulting cost?
It depends on scope — a single-facility vulnerability assessment is very different from a multi-location program or global plan. After an initial consultation we scope the engagement and provide a clear proposal.
Find the Gaps
Before Someone Else Does.
The organizations that handle a crisis well are the ones that planned for it before it arrived. Whether you need a single facility assessed or a complete security program built, one conversation tells us what's at stake — and gives you an honest read on where you actually stand.
